I had no problems installing this in my Fractal R3 case. I knew ahead of time that I would need short ram, so I got the Kingston HyperX KHX1600C9D3X2K2/8GX. Note: not all motherboards have 2 spots to plug in pwn fans. I had no problems with the ASRock P67 EXTREME4 B3 motherboard. It has 2 pwn fan headers.
This cooler Rocks! I'm only running 1 fan and have excellent temps on my 2600k o4.7Ghz. Very large unit that barely fits in my Thermaltake V4 case. Got this to replace a D14 since it couldn't work with the Asus Fan Control.
