This keyboard is sooo nice to type on I find that I look for stuff to type instead of avoiding typing. Heh heh, maybe that's a con because now I write too much.

Got this on sale a long time ago, it's a great keyboard for anyone interested in mechanical keyboards but don't want to pay the price of the other brands. Keep in mind MX Blue switches are the loudest with their clicky sound and people around you WILL NOTICE the noise level. This model is made by Costar, highly regarded OEM of keyboards. They also make keyboards for Filco and many other brands. Too bad NCIX does not carry the other versions of this keyboard. Personally I'd prefer the MX Red or MX Brown versions.
This really makes typing fun again. The key response is much more satisfying than the average mushy rubber membrane keyboards (think Logitech MX5500 - what a horrible over-rated keyboard).
Like many others, I don't think I can go back to rubber type keyboards again.

I spent a longtime wondering which mechanical keyswitch was for me and I finally decided on blues. Browns are nice, but they're hard to find in this price range. The quickfire has the simple design like a 6gv2, does not have the fingerprint magnet plastic of the blackwidow and not the cost as much as a DAS or Filco. Having to hold down the function key to use the media keys to me seems like poor design when a cheap dynex keyboard has 1 button access. Overall its cheap, sturdy and hopefully they release the ninja keyed one quickly.

This is a great tenkeyless keyboard. It feels great and is perfect for those with a smaller desk. The price is pretty decent too. A wonderful entry keyboard for those wanting to test out a mechanical keyboard.
I bought this keyboard to replace a relatively cheap compact keyboard purchased somewhere else. I prefer compact keyboards (no numpad) because I find that the extra width is very uncomfortable from a positioning perspective after long hours typing. The previous keyboard I had wasn't bad but was clearly inferior. I didn't know much about mechanical keyboards until I read up on this model and ordered one.
Great keyboard, the lack of the numpad makes its very ideal for gaming and smaller desk areas. However my gf has complained often about how loud the keys are. Otherwise a perfect mechanical key board with out the unnecessary bells and whistles.

This is my first mechanical keyboard so I can't compare to the others mechanical keyboards, however I'm very pleased with this keyboard. From a practical stand point it has almost everything you will ever need except for the numpad which can be an inconvenience at times. However it not a big deal, it's definitely worth it's price. Some folks love the key illumination which this one lacks, however it's not a major thing. Great keyboard.
