I could go on and on about how much I like this case and deciding to go mini ITX. I do professional video, audio and animation production and this little package is perfect for me.

Worth the wait. When some people rate products based on a couple of flaws. That may have been caused by human error , they are doing the product a deservice and to other people. We are not rating guns or aiirplanes where you cannot afford to have errors or lives are at stake....this is the best case I ve ever come across. I can have my cake and eat it too. Very very versatile. I spoke to a couple of people at Bitfenix ....Great customer service .

I have a Shuttle mITX system and bought this second foray into mITX because I wanted a case that would last longer than the motherboard, and the Shuttle case is so tailored to its motherboards, I'm not certain an alternate mITX board will fit in it when the time comes. I'm not entirely happy with this new case, however.
I love this box, except for one thing. The XFX 650W PSU is a little too long for the available space so the cables get squashed... The available holes, while excellently placed, are 1/2" off from the bundle coming out of the PSU, so I'll have to widen the hole with a Dremel. However, if you are using a "normal" PSU it would probably fit fine.

So I open it up and I see that the bottom USB 3.0 port looks a little out of place, like it was mounted off a cm or two. I'm putting the build together soon and it would be very disappointing if that port was broken. My order was received a day early, awesome! I would hate to have to swap out my side panel due to improper manufacturing/handling. Other than that I'm happy!

I used this case to build a Windows Home Server box. It does its job well. I didn't have any quality complaints that some of the other reviews mention, but maybe I just got lucky. It is not as small as some other mini-ITX cases, but it is reasonable for what I need. I could do without the wacky plastic fins, but they do come in handy when the box is sitting on carpet, to keep airways clear.
This case is very solid and is very expandable which is nice. It offers great features for someone looking to build a gaming ITX computer, but is pretty impractical for anything else. Ex... if you're going to make a mini NAS / Server there are much smaller more compact options out there than this. The main selling point is that this is an ITX case that can accommodate a full 13+" dual slot graphics card and lots of cooling.
The case by itself weighs half of what my fully loaded m-atx case weighs (which is both a pro and a con and good to keep in mind when considering this case as portable). Heard good things about this case from all the reviews and thought I would try it out, after hands on, I wouldn't buy it again based on this one. This is my 3rd Bitfenix case and by far the most disappointing. It will also be the last unless something substantial changes with general build quality based on what else is available at the same price point.
